Open Question: why is it that a good majority of southern girls get married so young versus northern girls?

case in point if you look at most girls facebook pages ages 18-25 majority of the girls in cities like boston, new york etc are single or dating and more focused on their careers and the avg woman in new england and up north in general gets married at around age 28. whereas if you look at the facebook pages of girls down south in north carolina and georgia girls are mostly married by 21 house shopping and some even planning families. ive researched this for a year for a school project. it almost seems as if southern girls go to college to find a husband...
